In the case
study the following different types of household were identified based on
differences in age, origin and the composition of household members:
Younger Wassa married people
Older Wassa married people
Older Wassa female-headed households
Non-Wassa households
Non-Wassa households were not further differentiated due to their low numbers within the community.
The example will focus on the livelihoods of indigenous Wassa married people where husband and wife are older than 35.
